David Fincham is managing, with his wife Sandy, a 300 ha sheep farm near Hawarden, North Canterbury, New Zealand.

The farm is a mixture of free-draining river terraces, clay country and limestone ridges. Around 1000 sheep - for meat production - are managed according to Holistic Management principles, which is really necessary according to David when you farm organic.

In this video, Dave explains how the holistic management helps him to be an organic farmer.
