Soil Guardians is a web serie which dives into the universe of innovative Canadian farmers who regenerate the health of their soils.
About the farm in the video :
Paul Slomp from Grazing Days, in the Outaouais area of Québec, is comitted restoring the health of his soil with mob grazing ; a particular type of managed grazing, which involves moving a dense herd of cows frequently from one section of pasture to the next.
Regeneration Canada is a nonprofit organization that promotes land management practices that regenerate soil health and foster soil carbon sequestration, in order to mitigate climate change, restore biodiversity, improve water cycles, and support a more productive and healthy food system.

Le mas de la pistache 04300 Forcalquier 0632900197 : Pepiniere d arbres a pistache 6 hectares en bio de Pistachiers dans Parc du Luberon entre coupe de Lavandin lui même entre coupe de Saint foin tout ca pature par 1000 Moutons et 52 Ruches.2018 a ete une année tres pluviôse l herbe a ete tres difficile a matrise.Mais le deal entre l eleveur de Moutons et le Pistachier a bien marche !Franck Goliat eleveur de moutons a Forcalquier 0680209775 recite la gestion d un troupeaux de moutons avec du Lavandin deja en fleur.Les deux agriculteurs reste convaincu que la collaboration elevage et production et la cle d un avenir tout proche !

The farm is a mixture of free-draining river terraces, clay country and limestone ridges. Around 1000 sheep - for meat production - are managed according to Holistic Management principles, which is really necessary according to David when you farm organic.

I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time with Helen, Ian and their kids Isobel and Archie. The farm is managed according to the Holistic Management principles.
Picot’s farm manages 1000 acres in Warwick, 2 hours from Brisbane in eastern Australia.Their property is a mixture of productive flood plains, timbered range lands and incredible views. Helen and Ian use the cattle to regenerate soils thanks to the Holistic Management principles. They sell the meat locally and have diversification projects for the future.
